About the CEARES-NET
CEARES NET is support action funded under the 7th Framework Programme of the European Commission. The main aim of the project is to help to enable the Central European aeronautical research establishments, universities and companies to cooperate with each other and to integrate more to the European research arena. This objective is achieved via two workshops held in Central Europe to enable many local experts to participate.
The organisers were relying on the CEARES Network, set up during the CEARES Project (FP7 1st of April 2008 till 31st of March 2010).
The organisers took the advantage of the contact data base of the former CEARES project and expected a wide interest for the workshops. The outcome of the project is the raised awareness of the new directions of the research and development in field of the aeronautics supported by the framework program and support provided by the initiatives like SESAR JU, CleanSky and CANNAPE. The events have facilitated research co-operation in general, common project proposals with increased Central and Eastern European participation for the upcoming calls and other research programmes.
