Technical capabilities, Test facilities, Numerical codes and tools

SC INAV SA is a research and development institute in the field of natural sciences and engineering. The primary research direction is aircraft calculus and construction, respectively aerodynamics, flight dynamics and stability computations and simulations, structure analysis, equipment, systems and subsystems design, including also fundamental research in this field. In present INAV is developing aircraft projects from small dimensions (UAV's) to passenger transport aircrafts, in own conception or in partnership. INAV follows the growth of the scientific and technological level with the aim of integration in the European research structures in the aerospace field and to collaborate in research projects. INAV uses several software packeges for simulation, analysis and design as FLUENT, CATIA, NASTRAN/PATRAN, FORTRAN and AUTOCAD/MECHANICAL DESKTOP. Due to the capability of producing interdisciplinary results with applicability in various scientific thematic areas INAV is interested in collaborating in projects with focus on aeronautics and space technologies, nanotechnologies and materials, energy, environment protection, security - aerial surveillance and recognition.
